Shahid Malik was detained and searched for explosives by the Department of Homeland Security at Dulles airport in Washington. This was the second time he had to endure this treatment, having also been detained last year at JFK. The Problem? Shahid Malik is the British Minister for International Development, and he was traveling to the United States to meet with – wait for it – the Department of Homeland Security.

And last, but definitely not least, today is International Orthopaedic Nurses Day.
